Etsy Find Friday

I love these bookmarks from blissinateacup on etsy. They would be a great present for a book lover and would look great hanging out of a vintage novel.

Thomas O'Brien

I ripped out a magazine page from House and Garden years ago when I saw this room by Thomas O'Brien. I have used it over and over again as inspiration in decorating. Whenever I consider buying something new, I take a look at that picture and ask myself if it would fit into that room. Now, I have come to know that Thomas O'Brien has released a book! I plan a taking a trip to Barnes and Noble soon to at least skim through it...

Happy Belated Easter

So, I know that this is a little late. But, I wanted to share the easter eggs I dyed on easter with my family. I am very proud (maybe too much) of them.

Pastel Pretty Wedding

I love this wedding that I found on Southern Wedding's blog. The pastels are soft and pretty, the vintage bird prints are adorable and the bird cage veil is classic. Unfortunately, I can't seem to make the pictures clear. You have to go to the website and check out this wedding though!

Urban Outfitters Chandelier

I have been lusting over the Anthropologie bird cage chandelier for quite some time. Imagine my happiness when I found a very similar, and much cheaper verison at Urban Outfitters! Cute right?

Trip to Fredericksburg, TX

I had a wonderful time on my trip to Fredericksburg, Tx. With its abundance of antique stores, its friendly and quaint atmosphere, and a hugggge piece of granite (called Enchanted Rock) that you can climb to the top and enjoy scenic views- it's a must see!

The First picture is a view from the top of Enchanted Rock. It only took about an hour to climb to the top and all the way back to our car, but it was very rewarding! The second picture shows you some scenery you will see on your way to the top. Its hard to tell in the picture, but most of those rock were much larger then me. I can't help but wonder how many kitchen counter tops could be made by Enchanted Rock (of course I would never want that to happen, just curious).

The other pictures showcase how cute the city is. I found this one courtyard with a gorgeous fountain (the picture on my header is a picture of the fountain), growing ivy, and a creme colored home with red antique door and I felt like I was transported to somewhere in Europe.

Made a Favicon!

Ahhh I am so excited. After countless hours, I have accomplished the impossible...I HAVE MADE A FAVICON. Please view. Thank you, thank you.

Hello and thank you for checking out my blog!

I decided to start my own blog to inspire others, to have a creative outlet and to cross it off my bucket list. Through pictures, words and advice, I hope to strike a creative chord in my viewers as well as serve as a design muse.
